National Hunt & Fish Day at Middle Creek

The SEPA Branch QDMA donated two Genesis Youth Bows to the PGC Middle Creek headquarters for the National Hunt & Fish Day events and others events hosted by the local PGC.  Steve Homyack and Barry Buhay presented the bows to Gilbert Myers, Environmental Education Specialist, Middle Creek WMA, PGC.

Board members Barry Buhay, Tom Funk and daughter Kiely, set up a QDMA display and Youth Antler Ring Toss Game.  Youths had the opportunity to toss rings at a deer antler display, prizes were given when for ringing points, ring a special colored point and they could win a nice QDMA hat.  Of course we talked about antlers, why and how they grow, did presentations on jawbone aging and explained the methods of QDM and how all sportsman and woman can help benefit the future of deer and hunting.
